In the Environmental Commission, the debate seemed to be doing well. The resolution was on the Ivory Trade or Waste Production and Textile Resources. The delegate of the United states proposed a clause relating to using Hydro-electricity, Solar Power, Wind power. The delegate added that energy from waste should be sent to energy plants. The delegate of the Denmark argues against the delegate of the United States, saying that using all forms is not sustainable because of the inability to afford these resources of power as well as the inability to maintain these sources.
Due to time constraints towards the end, the debate was moved to the voting procedures. This clause failed, due to a slight majority.
